Sculpe Buyer Policy

Sculpe is one of the main sources to reach diverse, rich, historic and traditional Indian crafts and master artisans. It is trying to fill the gap between artisans and customers; traditional culture and contemporary, innovative designs. We thank buyers for showing their interest to buy handicraft products through Sculpe. This policy contains all necessary information about buyer.

Contact Information: Buyer has to provide current and accurate contact details all the time, if any change related to contact information on the website, customer has to update immediately with a complete postal address, pin code, contact number, and e-mail ID, which are mandatory for placing the order. In case of any delay / non delivery of the goods, on the account of failure of the customer to update the contact information given on the website, then the Company may not be responsible.

Product delivery failed due to inadequate or inaccurate shipping address or customer non- availability at the address provided, the order will be cancelled, and the product will be returned back to us and we are entitled to recover reasonable compensation for services provided to the customer. We also build a database of customers with a score card from 1 to 10, of which 7 and above are considered as valuable and eligible for writing reviews. Reasonable compensation includes processing the order, shipping, Handling and courier and for any other service extended to the customer (i.e Rs 30/- extra). However we ensure the availability of buyer at the given shipping address to deliver while shipping the product

Placing an Order: After finalizing the product on screen at Sculpe.com, buyer needs to call the customer service number (73 53 83 66 69) provided to place the order by providing the SKU number of the selected product, our customer service executive shall guide to place the order.

Shipping and delivery: Currently we are shipping in Bengaluru only. We can also send the product through Indian Postal service if one wants to buy in other cities, provided speed post cost (up to Rs 90/-) would remain extra apart from product cost

Delivery Process: Same day delivery if order placed before 17:00 Hrs (5PM). Customer will get e-mail confirmation for his/her purchase order and a call confirmation. In case of any delay in product delivery or other situations like buyer wants receive the product before the shipping address on the way to the actual shipping address, contact our customer Service number, we are flexible. However delivery time may delay which is subjected to unexpected situations like Strikes, bad weather and heavy traffic, but we ensure it is delivered as soon as possible.

Special Note: Sculpe products are fully /semi handmade or hand-crafted not machine made. Hence there will be slight difference between any two products. Products like Channapatna toys and others manufactured with natural dyes to be used only in diffused (in shade) sunlight only to avoid colour fading.

Order Cancellation & Colour Modification: Order cancellation will be considered only till 3PM in a day, in-case if buyer has any emergency not able to receive the order, he/she can request for next day delivery. Order modification; customer has to approach Sculpe Customer Service at the earliest (within 2 hours of placing the order i.e before 3PM in that day. For example, if the order is placed at 1PM, buyer can call to customer service number and request for colour modification till 3PM in the same day by reordering, Sculpe cancels the first order and considers the modified order) with your order number on invoice bill. Once product dispatched from our end then buyer can not avail this. It cannot exchange or replaced products for any reason mentioned in Special Note. However modification of colours can be made at buyers request with additional charges of Rs 50/- in Bengaluru/Bangalore only subjected to the availability of requested colours in stock

 

Exchange & Refund:             

       Under, 2 circumstances customer can return the products.

  1. Product Damage. Before dispatch, complete quality check will be done by our Quality Control team and safe packing will be done. Even though some time hitch might go unnoticed.
  2. In case of mismatched product delivered related to pattern colour & size.

Product order will be considered but amount will not be refunded which will be in their account, however buyer needs to buy any other product(s) for the same amount within 60 days of cancelling the first order If the product is in stock

 

Replacement: Incase of Product damage / mismatched product as above said, buyer can avail replacement.

Following products shall not be eligible for return or replacement.

  • Product damaged due to misuse / mishandle by the buyer
  • Incidental product  damaged due to malfunctioning of product by buyer
  • If any product returned without all original packing and invoice bill, or products original tag and branded packing box is damaged or broken.
  • Products like jewellery, paintings, bags, sarees, clothing fabric & toys are not covered under replacement and exchange policy.
  • Footwear and clothing which is used, altered, washed or damaged in any manner (other than trail).

30 days replacement option is available if the product is in stock and under above said conditions without refund

Payment Method: At present we offer “Cash on Delivery” payment mode. After the delivery of the ordered product to your doorstep make payment to our COD partner / delivery boy.
